Join Me for Creative Escapes!!

As we grapple with the difficulties that COVID-19 and social distancing present, creative escapes or outlets can be an important resource in lowering our stress levels and providing a positive focus for us.  However, coming up with an idea for a creative escape can be a challenge for some of us, and that’s where I would like to offer to help!

Over the next several weeks, I will be offering free creative escape ideas in the form of weekly drawing challenges based on a variety of themes.  The drawing challenge will be posted on my blog (https://genakearn.com/latest) on Sundays.  

Then, I will be demonstrating each drawing challenge weekly on Facebook Live – Mondays at 4:30 PM Central (go to https://www.facebook.com/GenaKearnArt to join me).  I will also download that video and post it on my blog with each week’s drawing challenge for those of you that aren’t on Facebook or are not able to join us live.

My goal is for these challenges to be a fun, stress free, judgement free creative escape for you during these difficult days.  No art experience is required to participate! Just give it your best shot, have fun, and don’t take it too seriously.

Our first challenge will be a “Spring Drawing Challenge”.  Choose at least one item from the list to draw or even paint using whatever supplies you have on hand.  If you’re up for more of a challenge, see how many items you can combine or include in your drawing.
