Iris #2 is DONE!!
I’m so excited to share with you that iris number two for my drawing titled “Magnificent Wisdom” is finished!! I’ve put together a time-lapse video of that process. Even after 188+ hours of work on this drawing, I continue to find myself amazed at all of the wide variety of purple and violet shades contained in each petal!
As I think about the lengthy journey I’ve been on with this drawing and the many sidetracks that life has brought in the process, I realize that I’m learning a lot personally about God’s wisdom and how to trust in that. It’s not an easy process, but it’s one that I’m very grateful for as it takes me deeper in my faith and relationship with Him.
I’m looking forward to more focused time on this drawing in the weeks ahead, and, hopefully, faster progress along the journey. The dark iris bud is up next and then iris number three!
